Boston Bruins Lose Forward Patrick Brown to Adler Mannheim Signing

The Boston Bruins have lost forward Patrick Brown as he signs with DEL’s Adler Mannheim for the 2026-27 season. At 34 years old, Brown's professional career in North America was likely nearing its end. Originally signed as a collegiate free agent by the Carolina Hurricanes ahead of the 2014-15 season, Brown has spent the majority of his career in the AHL. Although he did not achieve significant scoring accolades, he was known for his leadership, serving as captain for the Boston College Eagles during the 2013-14 NCAA season and for the Providence Bruins in the AHL. Throughout his NHL career, Brown played parts of nine seasons with teams including the Bruins, contributing 10 goals and 26 points in 164 games. His AHL performance was more notable, with 111 goals and 286 points in 572 games. Brown's signing with Adler Mannheim marks a new chapter in his career as he transitions to European hockey.
